What to Expect

on a Sunday Morning

When are services?
Life in Christ Center (LCC) meets at 10:15am Sunday Mornings and 6:00pm Sunday evenings. Sunday School and adult Life Groups are available at 9:00am.
What are the services like?
Our services are about 1hr and 30min long.  The general format will be a welcome message, a time of worship through singing and prayer, announcements, a 50-minute talk, and then another song.  Our style is a mix of old and new, with something for every generation.
What is the dress code?
There’s no dress code, come however you are comfortable – Come as you are!
Is there childcare or children’s church?
Yes, there is a nursery on the lower level run by caring volunteers from LCC.  Each volunteer has passed a background check and has basic childcare training.
We also have a Beginners Church for ages 3yrs – K and a Children’s Church for Grades 1st – 5th Grade. Where kids are taught the word of God and how the Bible is relevant today for them.
Why are people raising their hands?
People express their worship in a variety of ways at LCC.  You may see people kneel, raise their hands, or sit in their seat.  We see the various worship postures as a way of physically expressing our inward heart attitudes – kneeling to humble ourselves in front of God, raise our hands in thanks, etc.  We invite you to worship however you are most comfortable.
Why do people come to the front of the church during worship?  We are a church that believes in the power of prayer.  During worship, we normally have a time where people can come to the front of the church to have a member of our prayer team pray for your specific needs.  They will listen to you, anoint you with oil (James 5:14-15), and then pray for God’s intervention in your life needs.
What denomination is Life in Christ Center?
LCC is a part of the Assemblies of God, USA.  Learn more about the AG here
