Lead Pastor

Pastor Allen & Deb have been in active ministry for 40 years, starting out here in The Dalles as Youth Pastors. They have pastored for 22 years in Oregon and another 18 in Minnesota. They believe the Lord brought them back to The Dalles for such a time as this. Pastor Allen has been privileged to be a Sectional Presbyter, a Rotary President, a teacher in Minnesota School of Ministry, a football coach and many other ministry and community positions during the years. Deb has ministered alongside him in Kid’s and music ministries, teaching and organizing as a constant support in the churches they have served. They have two adult married children. Their son, Marcus was born in The Dalles and is now a church planter and pastor in Rogers, Minnesota. They have four children. Their daughter Robyn was born in the Philippines, lives in The Dalles, and is involved in ministry and has two children. Allen and Debbie enjoy pastoral ministry and also getting out enjoying the great outdoors; like biking, hiking, camping, etc. They look forward to serving Life in Christ Center as long as the Lord has planned.

Worship and Media Pastor

Tyler is self taught and has been leading worship services for 3 years. He has a heart for worship ministry, young adults, and being a servant and is so glad to be part of the church.

Pastor Emeritus

Dr. J. W. Jepson was the Lead Pastor of Life in Christ from mid-1995 to 2013. He remains active at the church as Pastor Emeritus. He is an ordained minister of the Assemblies of God. Since entering the ministry in 1950, he has served as an evangelist, a pastor, and a teacher and administrator. His education includes a Bachelors degree in Theology from Messenger College, a Masters degree in General Studies–Social Science from Southern Oregon University, and an earned doctorate (D.Min.) from Western (Conservative Baptist) Seminary. Dr. Jepson’s books, articles and essays are available here and from his website at jwjepson.com. Pastor Jepson can also be seen every week on a program called Compact on KRHP TV14.
